Shell has provided us with funding on several occasions. They have provided funding towards painting the original cabin and have donated furniture They contributed towards the plumbing costs of our new toilets. The latest award helped equip mini plots and buy equipment for our tool bank.

We wish to acknowledge the help Asda Foundation has provided by allocating us a ‘Bringing Communities Together Award’ Aden allotments were also nominated for the ‘Green Token Scheme’ These investments have made it possible to invite the community to our events, workshops and improve outdoor safety at the plots.

A small grant from AVA Anchor Funding allowed us to open through out the pandemic by funding PPE.

William Wilson (Fraserburgh) gave us the fittings for one of our new Toilets.

NorthConnect have given us £1500 to buy equipment for the allotments

Mintlaw Community Church have given us £850 towards our toilet project. This was raised at a fashion show.

We have obtained a grant from the “Buchan Area Small Grant Scheme” for £5280. This is specifically for moving the existing Green Store and laying the foundations and paths for a new cabin.

Foundation Scotland provided us with a grant to fit a new metal roof on our cabin.

Apache gave us £10326 towards our Toilet and New Cabin Project.

Health Improvement fund (HIF) supported the development of the community area and orchard as they recognized the health and well being aspects of the project. They also provided funding to develop two extra plots by buying sheds and water-butts.

The crucial on going support from Mintlaw Co-op has considerable impact on our work. It has allowed us to complete our toilet project and continue to develop by adding more plots with sheds to our allotment site.

Our outdoor area has been considerably improved for the local community by the addition of tables, benches and seating areas. The funding was provided by the Buchan Area Committee

Climate Challenge fund provided us with the large grant which enable us to set up the Aden Allotments in 2012.

The small grant from Action earth supported volunteers to develop the community areas of the project. This included buying materials for the poly tunnel and green house.

The Scottish Hydro Electric Community Trust charity. gave us a grant for the electricity supply in the new cabin.

Awards for all provided funding for the community cabin. It is a comfortable multi-purpose meeting room for plot-holders and visitors. It encourages more people to become involved by having a dedicated space for training, fund raising activities and a meeting space.
